I have got accurate break barrels but no way is my TX200 going
If you’ve got a break-barrel that matches your fixed barrel rifle(s) is there any reason to keep the fixed barrels? Given a late middle age, it’s unlikely I’ll physically wear out a break-barrel. There are lighter for the aging frame to heft, and are less complex to strip and maintain, an important feature as the clock runs down.
I don’t really like break barrels as much as direct-loading fixed barrel guns simply because of some additional and possibly theoretical rigidity. They’re heavier so maybe that makes them easier to keep on aim but then they’re heavier so muscle tremors kick in earlier.

There are swings and roundabouts when it comes to weight - as you say, more weight can help with steadiness and recoil for some, but for others it adds to the shakes.
I love my TX200 and Prosports, but they weigh a ton.
However, my various Webley Eclipses come up to the shoulder far nicer and seem better balanced and lighter. At least for me they do.
I guess it depends on what the guns are and how they suit you and how attached you are to them.
So if I shot equally well with a BB or underlever, for example, in my case I’d keep both…
Maybe just trim things down a bit but not totally so on the days you're feeling better you can still have the choice and wont be going bugger I wish I never sold X Rifle as it was fun etc.

I think that a sling transforms a heavy gun to being much more comfortable to manage
My breakers are lighter, easier to load, just as accurate and less likely to remove a digit than my HW97.
I’m still keeping it though

I'd go along with the consensus here and keep both for now, for all the reasons given above.

Use a rest / shooting sticks & keep them all. My spine & shoulders are knackered & that's how I manage. Otherwise I'm shaking like a sh1tting dog.
